Cambridge IoT meeting roaring sucess
Last Thurday night was the" IoT Practitioner: Bring a thing, present a thing or make a thing" meeting.
It was vibrant and fresh, there were people there with real world experience, working prototypes, stuff you could buy today and real palpable interest. Springboard had funded beer, coke and pizza's. The University setting was perfect for the number of people there.
Laura, Rob and Stew did a sterling job, looking very much to the next one which is penciled in to be at the Cambridge Makespace (http://makespace.org/)
On a personal note it was great to see that of all the hardware that people were using or demo'ing, Ciseco appeared to be the most popular. I gave out the very first (paid for) EVE (many thanks Lawrence) So many people asking how EVE was doing. Can't recomend the experience highly enough.
